INDIVIDUAL COURSES - D

INTRODUCTION
Our school was the first to organize individual courses which answered the specific needs of its clients. The series of courses vary from a minimum of 2-4 hours a day to a maximum of 100 hours in nine days. Each student is considered a "specific case" for whom we organize, prepare and execute an ideal program which combines the personal needs of the student with the time he/she has to study Italian. All this is made possible thanks to a highly qualified and specialized professional staff. Perhaps the reason for our success lies in the special consideration we give our clients, and this, in time, leads them to return to our school, when possible, or to recommend us to friends and acquaintances even after many years.
APPLIED METHODOLOGY
Always at the forefront of teaching methods, the CLI Dante Alighieri stresses the close relationship between what is studied and the professional reality of the student. During conversation periods, the vocabulary used is always one which will help develop the communication skills of the student in real life situations. These special methods, applied from the very first lessons, allow the student to achieve excellent results very quickly. Within 2 to 3 weeks the student will achieve a good level of proficiency in written and spoken Italian and will be able to communicate effectively in the appropriate area of expertise. The course director is Prof. Gabriella Accorti Materassi who, since the start of the courses in 1970, is personally responsible for coordination between students and teachers.
COURSE CONTENTS
Our individual programs are truly "made to measure" and are designed to satisfy the exact needs of each student by giving the essential elements of written and spoken Italian language consistent with the objectives of each student, be they for work requirements or for personal interest. For the D8, D10 and S9 courses, lunch with the teacher in trattorias or in some of the best restaurants is included in the fees and is considered an integral part of the courses. Our experience has shown us that this "pause" allows students to practice the language while learning about Italian cuisine and become familiar with one of the most important aspects of Italian life, i.e. "Business is best done around the table".
GENERAL CONSIDERATIONS
Our individual courses are ideal for managers, diplomats, import-export agents, musicians etc. With more than 20 years of experience in corporate language training, multinationals who require quality and effective instruction choose CLI Dante Alighieri.
