Course Descriptions: INTERNSHIPS
	IN2: Internship - 2 Months (1 month Italian + 1 month internship) The IN2 program lasts 2 months and includes 1 month of intensive Italian language course and 1 month of internship. The Italian language preparation consists of 4 hours of the G8 group Italian language course in the morning. For the second month of the program, the candidate is placed in a company in or around Florence for 1 month of internship. This program preferably applies to students with at least an intermediate knowledge of Italian. Program Details: 1 G8 Italian language course (80 hours of Italian language in 4 weeks) in groups with a maximum of 13 students per class. 4 weeks of internship with a company in or around Florence
	IN2P: Internship Package - 2 Months (1 month Italian + 1 month internship) Also 2 months long, IN2P includes everything in IN2 and more: 1 G8 group Italian language course (80 hours of Italian in 4 weeks) with a maximum of 13 students per class 12 hours of Italian cultural courses or extra Italian conversation classes in the afternoon 4 weeks of internship with a company in or around Florence 1 one to one Italian language lesson per week for 8 weeks (total: 8 hrs.) 16 lunch vouchers
The IN3 program is offered in two different options: IN3 (2+1) and IN3 (1+2).
	IN3(2+1): Internship - 3 Months (2 months Italian + 1 month internship) The IN3 (2+1) option lasts 3 months and includes 2 months of intensive language courses and 1 month of internship. The Italian language preparation consists of 4 hours of group Italian language course in the morning. For the remaining month of the program, the candidate is placed in a company in Florence's area for one month of internship. This program preferably applies to students with at least an elementary knowledge of Italian. Program details: 2 G8 group Italian language courses (160 hours) with a maximum of 13 students per class 4 weeks of internship with a company in or around Florence
	IN3P(2+1): Internship Package - 3 Months (2 months Italian + 1 month internship) Also 3 months long, IN3P(2+1) includes everything in IN3(2+1) and more: 2 G8 group Italian language courses (160 hours) with a maximum of 13 students per class 4 weeks of internship with a company in or around Florence 24 hours of Italian cultural courses or extra conversation classes in the afternoon 1 one to one Italian language lesson per week for 12 weeks (total: 12 hrs.) 16 lunch vouchers
	IN3(1+2): Internship - 3 Months (1 month Italian + 2 months internship) The IN3 (1+2) option is available for those who preferably already have an intermediate knowledge of Italian. It includes 1 month of Italian language course and 2 months of internship with a company in or around Florence. Program details: 1 G8 group Italian language courses (80 hours) with a maximum of 13 students per class 8 weeks of internship with a company in or around Florence

	IN4: Internship - 4 Months The IN4 program lasts 4 months and includes 2 months of intensive Italian language courses and 2 months of internship. The Italian language preparation consists of 4 hours of group Italian language course in the morning. For the remaining 2 months, the candidate is placed in an internship with a company in or around Florence. This program preferably applies to students with at least an elementary knowledge of Italian. 	IN4P: Internship Package - 4 Months Also 4 months long, IN4P includes everything in IN4 and more: 2 G8 Italian language group courses (160 hours) with a maximum of 13 students per class 8 weeks of internship with a company in or around Florence 24 hours of Italian cultural courses or extra Italian conversation classes in the afternoon 1 one to one Italian language lesson per week for 16 weeks (total: 16 hrs.) 20 lunch vouchers
The IN5 program is offered in two different options: IN5 (3+2) and IN3 (2+3).
	IN5(3+2): Internship - 5 Months (3 months Italian + 2 months internship) The IN5 (3+2) option lasts 5 months and includes 3 months of intensive Italian language courses and 2 months of internship. The Italian language preparation consists of 4 hours of group Italian language course in the morning. For the remaining 2 months of the program, the candidate is placed in an internship with a company in or around Florence. This program preferably applies to beginners with or without previous knowledge of Italian. Program Details: 3 G8 Italian language group courses (240 hours) with a maximum of 13 students per class 8 weeks of internship with a company in or around Florence
	IN5P(3+2): Internship - 5 Months (3 months Italian + 2 months internship) Also 5 months long, IN5P(3+2) includes everything in IN5(3+2) and more: 3 G8 Italian language group courses (240 hours) with a maximum of 13 students per class 8 weeks of internship with a company in or around Florence 36 hours of Italian cultural courses or extra Italian conversation classes in the afternoon 1 one to one Italian language lesson per week for 20 weeks (total: 20 hrs.) 25 lunch vouchers
	IN5(2+3): Internship - 5 Months (2 months Italian + 3 months internship) The IN5(2+3) option lasts 5 months and includes 2 months of intensive Italian language courses and 3 months of internship. The Italian language preparation consists of 4 hours of group Italian language course in the morning. For the remaining 3 months of the program, the candidate is placed in an internship with a company in or around Florence. This program preferable applies to students with at least an elementary knowledge of Italian. 	IN6: Internship - 6 Months The IN6 program extends for 6 months. It includes an Italian language course for 3 months —80 hours of classes per month. For the remaining 3 months of the program, the candidate is placed in an internship with a company in or around Florence. This internship program is ideal for beginners, with or without previous knowledge of Italian, who want to become proficient in the Italian language. It is also beneficial to intermediate and advanced students who want to even further enhance their Italian language skills. Program Details: 3 G8 Italian language group courses (240 hours) with a maximum of 13 students per class 12 weeks of internship with a company in or around Florence
	IN6P: Internship Package - 6 Months Also 6 months long, IN6P includes everything IN6 has to offer and more: 3 G8 courses (240 hours of Italian language) in groups with a maximum of 13 students per class 12 weeks of internship with a company in or around Florence 36 hours of cultural courses or extra conversation classes (in the afternoon) 1 one to one Italian language lesson per week for 24 weeks (total: 24 hrs.) 25 lunch vouchers
	INO: Internship Only This option is available for students who already speak Italian at least at an intermediate level and prefer to start an internship without the Italian language course segment. A minimum language requirement is mandatory for companies that request interns with sufficient knowledge of the Italian language.

Educational Requirements: Open to all students at undergraduate junior to senior levels, recent graduates, and graduate students. Age: 18-38 years. Interns required knowledge of Italian is dependant on the internship. See descriptions for Italian proficiency requirements.

Internship Application Process: Students must complete an application form and provide a resume to CLIDA. Selection criteria will not include their present knowledge of the Italian language as this will be extended during the preliminary Italian language course. Applicant must include a description of the type and field of internship he or she desires.
