One-On-One Italian Language Courses


One-on-One Italian Language CoursesCLIDA was one of the first Italian language schools to organize one to one or individual Italian classes to answer the specific needs of our students. The One-on-One Italian language classes vary from a minimum of 2-4 lessons a day to a maximum of 100 lessons in nine days. Each student is considered individually for whom we organize, prepare and execute an ideal Italian language program which combines the personal needs of the student with the time he or she has to study Italian in Italy.

Each student receives personalized care, and depending on his or her language goals and available time to study, CLIDA organizes an individualized lesson plan for that student.

In as little as two to three weeks, One-on-One students can expect a solid level of proficiency in both written and spoken Italian language and will be able to communicate effectively. CLIDA offers a variety of scheduling options to meet every student's needs.

1 lesson = 45 minutes.

ONE TO ONE ITALIAN LANGUAGE COURSES
Course D2

This Italian language course is ideal for those who have limited free time to dedicate to Italian language studies. Personalized also for those attending a group course in the morning and want to complement it with a one-on-course that is more tailored to their needs.

  • Frequency: 2 lessons per day - 5 days per week
  • Advised Minimum Study Period: 6 Weeks
Course D4

This Italian language course is perfect for those who would like to have half days free to further their studies or simply enjoy all the treasures Florence has to offer.

  • Frequency: 4 lessons per day - 5 days per week
  • Advised Minimum Study Period: 4 weeks
Course D6

This Italian language course is the best for students with no previous knowledge of the Italian language and wish to obtain verbal and written proficiency in a relatively short period of time.

  • Frequency: 6 lessons per day - 5 days per week
  • Advised Minimum Study Period: 3 Weeks

SUPER INTENSIVE ITALIAN ONE-ON-ONE LANGUAGE COURSES
Course D7

This highly intensive Italian language course is ideal for students who want to learn written and spoken Italian is a short time. This course offers 4/5 lessons a day of morning classes and 2/3 lessons in the evening in a restaurant in the company of the teacher (dinner & drinks included). With this type if schedule, in a relaxing atmosphere, it is easy to elaborate Italian grammar and conversation.

  • Frequency: 7 lessons per day - 5 days per week (35 lessons)
  • Advised Minimum Study Period:1 Week
  • Typical schedule: Lessons in the morning, afternoon free and in the evening lessons/dinner with the teacher.
Course D8

In addition to a full day of lessons, this intensive Italian language course offers the opportunity to practice Italian conversation and other verbal exercises in the delightful atmosphere of a Trattoria during lunches with the teacher.

  • Frequency: 8 lessons per day - 5 days per week (40 lessons)
  • Advised Minimum Study Period: 2 Weeks
Course S9

Our most intensive One-on-One Italian language course offers 100 lessons of instruction into just 9 days and is designed for those with little time to learn Italian but with a lot of motivation. This highly intensive course, with lessons on Saturdays and Sundays, incorporates the maximum amount of class time in only one working week. Breaking up the 11-lessons day, students and their teacher will attend lunch at a Florentine restaurant.

  • Frequency: 100 lessons in 9 days
Course WS3

This three-day crash course is conducted in a relaxing family environment. Spanning Friday, Saturday and Sunday, a total of 25 lessons will be taught in the comfort of the home of CLIDA's directors. Lodging, which is included in the cost of the course, comes complete with all meals.

COMBINATION GROUP/ONE TO ONE ITALIAN LANGUAGE COURSES
Course GD1

This Italian language course combines group and One to One Italian language courses. The group Italian language lessons are held in the morning from 9 am to 1 pm, and one individual Italian lesson takes place twice a week in the afternoon. Class is every day from Monday through Friday. 
  • Structure: 100 group lessons and 16 One to One lesson in four weeks
  • Course start: Beginners are kindly requested to start the Italian language course on the dates indicated in the calendar. The others may begin any Monday.
  • Duration: This Italian language course can be taken for a minimum of 2 weeks and upwards. There are altogether 9 levels of the group Italian language course; each level lasts 4 weeks.
Course GD2

This Italian language course combines group and one to one Italian language courses. The group Italian language lessons are held in the morning from 9 am to 1 pm, and the individual Italian lessons take place fiur times a week in the afternoon. Class is every day from Monday through Friday. 
  • Structure: 100 group Italian language lessons and 32 One to One lessons in 4 weeks.
  • Course start: Beginners are kindly requested to start the Italian language course on the dates indicated in the calendar. The others may begin any Monday.
  • Duration: This Italian language course can be taken for a minimum of 2 weeks.



Starting Dates: Generally One-on-One "D" courses start every Monday. The S9 course starts on Saturdays.
